Clinical Director
Dr. Carlos Vargas is the Clinical Director of MindScape Retreat in Cozumel, Mexico. He holds medical responsibility for every admission: the pre-treatment clearance, the EKG and QTc review, the individualized flood-dose protocol, the cardiac telemetry that runs through every session, and the discharge summary that goes back to each patient's home physicians.
As Clinical Director he oversees MindScape's clinical protocols, including the onsite total-alkaloid (TA) bridging protocol for patients discontinuing antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioid agonists before a flood dose.
