The mechanism
Neuroinflammation, neurotrophic support, and motor neuron health
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and related motor neuron diseases involve the progressive loss of the motor neurons that carry signals from the brain and spinal cord to the muscles. Chronic neuroinflammation and the loss of neurotrophic support, the biological signals that keep neurons alive, are increasingly recognized as part of that process.
Ibogaine acts on some of these same pathways: it reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines including TNF-alpha and IL-6, upregulates GDNF (a protein central to neuronal survival), and increases neuroplasticity. In principle, these mechanisms are biologically relevant to the environment motor neurons live in.
In practice, this is an emerging and complementary idea, not a treatment proven to change the course of ALS in clinical trials. We say that as plainly as we can. There is real biology here, and there is a great deal we do not know, and we will never let hope outrun the evidence.

What we do, and do not, promise
ALS is a serious and progressive disease. We do not claim to cure it, stop it, slow it, or reverse it. Anyone who promises a family that they can do those things should be treated with the deepest caution, because that promise cannot honestly be made.
What we can offer is a careful medical assessment, mechanism-based supportive care aimed at neural health and wellbeing, and complete honesty about the limits of what is known. For many people, and especially where breathing or swallowing is already affected, our answer will be that this program is not safe or appropriate, and we will tell you so directly.
The most important thing we can give a family facing ALS is the truth. If we cannot help someone safely and honestly, we will say no, even when it is the harder answer.
The approach
How the program supports neural health
Anti-Inflammatory Action
Reduction of the pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6) implicated in the neuroinflammatory environment around motor neurons.
GDNF Neurotrophic Support
Upregulation of Glial Cell-Derived Neurotrophic Factor, a protein central to the survival and maintenance of neurons.
Neuroplasticity & Wellbeing
Support for the nervous system's adaptive capacity, alongside attention to mood, meaning, and quality of life.
Respiratory & Cardiac Screening
Because ALS can affect breathing and ibogaine is cardio-active, we assess respiratory and cardiac function rigorously. Compromised breathing means the program is not appropriate.
Family Involvement
We involve the people who love and care for the person, and we keep expectations realistic and grounded throughout.
Measured, Not Assumed
Wellbeing and functional baselines are captured and re-measured, so anything we observe is tracked honestly rather than hoped for.
The process
A careful, safety-gated program
Candidacy & medical screening
Before anything else, our medical team reviews disease stage, respiratory and bulbar function, cardiac health, and capacity to consent. Where breathing is affected, the honest answer is no.
Neurotrophic priming
For appropriate candidates only, an extended anti-inflammatory and neurotrophic protocol under medical supervision.
Supervised session
The medically supervised session under continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring.
Integration & honest measurement
Structured integration and re-measurement of wellbeing and function against baseline, with realistic, family-involved follow-up.
Measured & safe
Recovery you can track. Safety you can trust.
Our proprietary data system measures your progress before, during, and after your stay, and monitors your safety at every step. The same data that keeps you safe is the data that proves it worked.
Validated instruments build your baseline before you travel.
Cardiac and vital monitoring around your session, read in real time.
Your progress re-scored against your baseline, in your portal.
