The mechanism
Neuroinflammation, BDNF loss, and striatal neurons
Huntington's disease is an inherited disorder caused by an expanded CAG repeat in the HTT gene, which produces an altered huntingtin protein. Over time it leads to the loss of neurons, especially in the striatum, along with chronic neuroinflammation and a well-documented decline in BDNF, a neurotrophic protein that striatal neurons depend on for survival.
Ibogaine acts on some of these same pathways: it reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines including TNF-alpha and IL-6, upregulates neurotrophic signaling (GDNF and BDNF), and increases neuroplasticity. Because reduced BDNF is a recognized feature of HD biology, these mechanisms are, in principle, relevant to the environment those neurons live in.
In practice, this is an emerging and complementary idea, not a treatment proven to change the course of Huntington's in clinical trials. We say that as plainly as we can. There is real biology here, and a great deal we do not know, and we will never let hope outrun the evidence.

What we do, and do not, promise
Huntington's is a serious, inherited, and progressive disease. We do not claim to cure it, stop it, slow it, or reverse it. Anyone who promises a family that they can do those things should be treated with the deepest caution, because that promise cannot honestly be made.
Where a supportive approach is most honestly applicable is the psychiatric burden of HD. Depression, anxiety, irritability, and apathy are among the hardest parts of the disease for both the person and their family, and these are areas where careful, wellbeing-focused care can matter, without any claim about the disease's course.
The most important thing we can give a family facing Huntington's is the truth. If we cannot help someone safely and honestly, we will say no, even when it is the harder answer.
The approach
How the program supports neural health and wellbeing
Anti-Inflammatory Action
Reduction of the pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6) implicated in the chronic neuroinflammation of Huntington's disease.
Neurotrophic Support (BDNF/GDNF)
Upregulation of neurotrophic signaling, notably BDNF, whose decline is a recognized feature of HD striatal biology.
Psychiatric & Mood Support
Attention to the depression, anxiety, and irritability that carry much of HD's daily burden, framed around wellbeing and quality of life.
Cardiac Screening First
Ibogaine is cardio-active, and some HD medications such as tetrabenazine can affect the QT interval, so cardiac function is assessed rigorously before anything else.
Family & Genetic Context
We involve the people who care for the person, respect the genetic-counseling context of HD, and keep expectations realistic throughout.
Measured, Not Assumed
Wellbeing and functional baselines are captured and re-measured, so anything we observe is tracked honestly rather than hoped for.
The process
A careful, safety-gated program
Candidacy & cardiac screening
Before anything else, our medical team reviews disease stage, cardiac health, medications (including QT-affecting drugs like tetrabenazine), and capacity to consent. Where it is not safe, the honest answer is no.
Neurotrophic priming
For appropriate candidates only, an extended anti-inflammatory and neurotrophic protocol under medical supervision.
Supervised session
The medically supervised session under continuous cardiac monitoring.
Integration & honest measurement
Structured integration with a focus on mood and wellbeing, and re-measurement against baseline, with realistic, family-involved follow-up.
Measured & safe
Recovery you can track. Safety you can trust.
Our proprietary data system measures your progress before, during, and after your stay, and monitors your safety at every step. The same data that keeps you safe is the data that proves it worked.
Validated instruments build your baseline before you travel.
Cardiac and vital monitoring around your session, read in real time.
Your progress re-scored against your baseline, in your portal.
